SC Funding and Budget Policy Seminar
SC Workforce Certification Level
This seminar exposes Security Cooperation (SC) workforce personnel to a unique set of DoD SC budget and funding policies associated with SC programs to be able to appropriately resource and fund their organizations and efficiently execute SC programs to meet U.S. objectives.
This is an intermediate-level half day seminar conducted via synchronous webinar and applies to the Security Cooperation (SC) Execution Support Management (XSPT) Area of Concentration (AOC). Specifically, it is designed for Security Cooperation (SC) workforce personnel who perform duties associated with SC budget and funding and provides an update on financial policies related to SC. The seminar format will utilize Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and policy owners who will address new and evolving SC funding and budget policies.
This distance learning Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) seminar is delivered via the DSCU online learning management system, Blackboard. Once registered and accepted for the seminar, students will receive a username and password for the DSCU Blackboard website. Internet access is required to access the live webinar. Attendance and participation in the live webinar is required for credit and seminar completion.
This seminar’s objective is for students to interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and policy owners on new and dynamic topics associated with SC funding and budget policies. The webinar format is intended to expose students to timely and relevant SC funding and budget policies. Upon completion of the seminar, students should have gained an awareness and retained foundational knowledge related to updated SC funding and budget policies.
