Description
The EXEC 901 course is offered for students in positions, or moving into positions entailing executive level responsibility for the planning and execution of Security Cooperation (SC) programs. Instructional topics include history of SC, SC authorities and appropriations; interagency processes and best practices, and an overview current issues and trends in SC.
Objectives
The Security Cooperation Executive Course (EXEC 901) uses executive-level applied learning activities to cement understanding of major USG SC organizational structures, policies, and programs to senior personnel in any USG Agency or military service who have or will have SC responsibilities.
Target Attendees
Typical students eligible for enrollment are USG civilians GS-15 and above (or equivalent), U.S. military O-6s and above, or U.S. military E-9 Senior Enlisted Advisors to General and Flag Officers with SC responsibilities. GS-14s and military O-5s may be eligible if their current or follow-on job entails executive-level responsibilities for the planning and/or execution of security cooperation programs.
